JRAD Awarded $249M Army CBRND Contract
STAFFORD, VA., OCT 3, 2018 – Joint Research and Development (JRAD) was recently awarded a U.S. Army contract supporting the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) with a ceiling value of $249M.

The contract was competitively awarded as part of the Joint Enterprise – Omnibus Program, Engineering and Technical Support (JE-OPETS) Acquisition (ACQ) program to support the JPEO-CBRND, including its Headquarters, Directorates and five Joint Project Managers (JPMs). The JPEO-CBRND manages a diverse portfolio of critical warfighting capabilities requiring an approach for cohesive and innovative total life cycle systems management to rapidly respond to customer needs in a cost-effective manner. This contract will facilitate the JPEO-CBRND in meeting the schedule-drive, critical solutions of the Warfighter across the JPEO-CBRND Enterprise.

JRAD Awarded $48M Army Analysis Contract
STAFFORD, VA., OCT 3, 2018 – JRAD was recently awarded a contract supporting the U.S. Army Materiel Systems Analysis Activity (AMSAA) with a ceiling value of $48M.

The contract was competitively awarded and will support the Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Munitions Effectiveness (JTCG/ME). The JTCG/ME prepares and continuously updates Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manuals (JMEM) for air-to-surface, surface-to-surface, anti-air and other non-nuclear munitions systems (to include Non- lethal, Direct Energy and Cyber) including management of joint service efforts for associated databases in target vulnerability, weapon characteristics and delivery accuracy. Support will include analytical services associated with target descriptions, vulnerability, survivability and weapons effectiveness studies, as well as support to current JTCG/ME operations.
