The software system included within this CD is new in design, and requires several systems of your computer to interact that normally function separately. We recommend performing the following simple steps for proper operation of the Business Plan Software:

Step One

Data Access across Domains

1) From the Menu on your browser, select "Tools."

2) Then choose "Internet Options,”  The following Screen will appear:


 3) Click the tab labeled "Security;” the following Screen will appear:

 

4) Click the button at the bottom labeled "Custom Level.”

5) Scroll down until you see "Miscellaneous." The first listing under "Miscellaneous" will be "Access data sources across domains." Choose "Enable" under this listing. See the screen below:

 6) Click “OK” at the bottom and “OK” again when the box disappears.

Step Two

Allow Active Content to Run Files

1) From the Menu on your browser, select "Tools."
2) Then choose "Internet Options;”  the following Screen will appear:

 

 3) Click on tab labeled “Advanced;” The following Screen will appear:

 

 4) Scroll down until you see “Security.” Click on box that reads “Allow active content to run in files on My Computer” (box should have check mark showing when finished).

 5) Click “OK” at the bottom and “OK” again when the box disappears.  

Step Three

Install our “Patch” to allow this software to function with the latest MicroSoft Security Upgrade

1) To apply the patch click here.
2) A dialog box will open asking if you would like to "Run" or "Save" the file. Choose "Run."

 

3)       Answer "Yes" to the dialog box that will ask you if you want to apply the patch.


4)       Click OK to acknowledge that you have successfully applied the patch.

 

Step Four

In order to view some of the files on this CD, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader already installed, click the button to the left to install Adobe Acrobat Reader, V. 7.0. When asked if you would like to "open" or "save" the file, click "open." Click through the questions that follow and it will be installed on your computer. You may also download the most recent version from the Adobe web site: http://www.adobe.com.
