Germanna named one of top 150 community colleges nationwide

Germanna Community College was recently selected as 1 of 150 community colleges to compete for a $1 million prize from the Aspen Institute. The Aspen prize, which is given every two years, recognizes community colleges for helping students succeed, focusing on schools’ achievement in four areas: learning, certificate and degree completion, employment and earnings, and high levels of access and success for minority and low-income students.
